The second year of the second cycle of the U(R)TOPIAS Choreography Academy started in December 2024, with the participation of 6 dynamic emerging choreographers. During the year, 4 intensive weeks were held, in which they attended creative workshops by invited mentors from Greece and abroad. 

In addition, each choreographer had a 10-day residency and a 6-day residency in the city of Elefsina, during which they deepened the research of their work and its connection to the city. The residency was concluded with a presentation of their research, followed by a discussion and creative feedback from the Academy team and the other participants.

At the end of the year, the artists presented their works in the three hour site specific promenade “Dance MyS+eries / Season 4”, exploring the whole city of Elefsina, open to the public, artists, professionals in the field and guest programmers from festivals abroad.
